I am a college grad turned sports clerk at the Grand Rapids Press in Michigan. I also happen to be a life-long Cubs fan and getting paid to write about them is definitely in the Top 5 Dream Jobs. Alas, for now I shall have to settle for merely blogging about what they’re up to. I enjoy reading, whether it’s a quick update on my favorite football team (the Packers, in case you’re wondering), or a 500 page classic novel (I’m a big fan of Austen), I can’t get enough of the written word. I also enjoy playing and watching just about any sort of sport and can often be found yelling at the tv just like one of the guys, though I prefer to wear heels while doing so, rather than sneakers. I’m not perfect, I’m opinionated and I’ll always engage in conversation, so feel free to tell me I’m wrong. Just don’t be a jerk about it. That’s me in a nutshell. Want to know more?
